Scarlett Johansson was born to father Karsten Johansson, who is an architect and mother Melanie Sloan. Her mother belongs to Jewish American Family. She is one elder actress sister, Vanessa. From a very small age, Scarlett was interested in making her career in acting. Her luck also followed her dreams and soon she started getting lots of offers.

People started recognising Scarlett Johansson when they saw her performance in movie “The Horse Whisperer”, at that time she was only 14. Later Scarlett acted in a lead role in The Island and then some roles in movies like “Match Point” of Woody Allen, “Scoop” , The Black Dahlia of director Brian De Palma, The Prestige, The Nanny Diaries, The Other Boleyn Girl.

Other than movies, Scarlett Johansson appears in commercials from time to time. She can be seen advertising for Calvin Klein “Eternity Moment” perfume. Scarlett is also the spokesperson of Louis Vuitton and L’Oreal. Reebok is soon launching a range of sportswear with name “Scarleet Hearts Rbk”. She is also going to record music for Rhino Entertainment and album Scarlett Sings Tom Waits.

Scarlett Johansson has been on cover page of lots of magazines. She appeared nude of Vanity Fair cover which has been highly controversial in 2006. By FHM and Esquire Magazine, Scarlett has been declared the “Sexiest woman alive”. She was on #6 in Maxim “Hot 100” in 2006.

In personal life, Scarlett Johansson loves to date only with older men, till now she has dated with Jack Antonoff, Jared Leto, Benicio Del Toro, Derek Jeter. According to Scarlett, for her its not possible to spend the whole life with a single person. Currently she is dating with Josh Hartnett.
